Poppies are symbols of hope and remembrance. These are stitched in the foreground. I used various fabrics to create the landscape, then added batting to the back and let my embroidery stitches also quilt this piece. I then stitched it onto an 8”x 10” artist canvas. This peaceful scene embodies hope and remembrance.
