Hi there! Do you feel stuck in a certain part of your life? Or frustrated or angry more often than you’d like? Or do you wake up in the morning thinking, “Ugh. Here we go again.”? If any of these ring true for you, I can help! Believe it or not, each of us is capable of living happily in peace and freedom – regardless of our life situations or the challenges we face. This I know from personal experience. My clients are bright and creative women and teens, often in transition, who feel stuck or frustrated and would like assistance in uncovering their own wisdom, their calling, and finding freedom, purpose and peace. All of those are within each of us, and I can help you uncover them.

My philosophy:

A beautiful life is right here waiting for you. If you don’t see it, you may have some thoughts or beliefs that are blocking your view.

Each person is an expert in her own life. (I am not an expert on your life, and neither is anyone else – you are.) Each of us is responsible for our own happiness. What a relief! Blaming (while loads of fun) is not effective.

Being mindful, living in the present moment, is one direct path out of suffering. It’s a practice. All we ever have is this moment.

Another way out of suffering is to challenge your thoughts and beliefs. Just because you believe something doesn’t make it true.

My approach:

I don’t give advice. I listen carefully and share methods to help my clients untangle and uncover their own wisdom – as quickly as possible. Maybe in one session! The sooner each of us finds peace, the better off the world is. Win-win.

I do not diagnose people with conditions. That is the job of a psychologist. I meet my clients where they are, listen, and help them remove the obstacles that are in the way of their peace, joy and purpose.

Finally, I don’t judge, and all client information is confidential.

About me:

I graduated from Texas A & M in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, did graduate work at Texas Women’s through Dallas I.S.D.and obtained my teaching certificate. I taught middle schoolers for ten years (English, Art and Reading) before opening a small art gallery in Keller. During that time, I began pursuing my Masters in Counseling, but then discovered the Martha Beck Coaching program whose philosophy and practices resonated with me strongly. I completed her program and earned my Coaching certification, and continue to learn and practice methods that heal and embolden people. I highly recommend reading from the teachings of Martha Beck, Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Michael Singer, Maya Angelou, (and many others) and the Tao Te Ching,
